All level of players accepted from come back and amateur players to pros. This year we are accepting our friends from other instruments ( trombone, French horn, tuba, euphonium.)

The RMPBB Mountain Retreat is a unique opportunity for brass players players from around the world to come together to share their love of playing a brass intrument. Participants come from all walks of life: students, teachers, professionals, enthusiasts, part-time players, comeback players, etc. All are welcome in a noncompetitive, friendly, supporting atmosphere where learning and sharing knowledge is the key element to the week.

Private instruction can be arranged for a fee separately.

All deposits and fees are nonrefundable.

There is ample opportunity to spend time with world class musicians throughout the week. Leaders of past retreats have included members of Canadian Brass and Wynton Marsalis (Philadelphia), Boston Brass trumpet star Jose Sibaja, world renown and international trumpet soloists, recording artists, and educators Rodney Marsalis, Jens Lindemann. Special guests have included Wayne DuMaine, Rex Richardson, Kurt Dupuis, and Zhonghui Dai. All genres of music are studied including Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Rock and Roll. There is always a strong focus on the basics of brass playing.
