The 2022 RMPBB Retreat is a unique opportunity for brass players from around the world to come together to share their love of brass playing. Participants come from all walks of life: students, teachers, professionals, enthusiasts, part-time players, comeback players, late starters, etc.
All are welcome in a non-competitive, friendly, supportive atmosphere where learning and sharing knowledge is the crucial element to the week. The beautiful setting of the Cayman Islands will be the perfect backdrop for the RMPBB Retreat. Participants are housed in a luxury mansion steps away from the beach fully equipped with an ocean view, a game room, a gourmet kitchen, and spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean.
Included in the fee for the retreat is one week of lodging, five days of seminars, masterclasses, private lessons, and ensemble practice. Local participants will attend seminars and classes led by the world-class Associate Artists of The Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass.

Sample Daily Retreat Schedule:
4 PM Masterclass with guest artists
6:00 PM break
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Small group instruction and private lessons
